So last week I purchased a pair of Vagabond's fantabulous Dioon Black Leather Lace-Up boots from Urban Outfitters and OMG, I genuinely think I'm in love. They were £80 on the UO Website but I bought them using 15% discount which I had received on a recent visit to their magical Glasgow store and somehow wangled free delivery and so only spent £68 in total, which made a very smiley Robyn!
I thought I would do a quick review as I'm not going to lie, I want to marry these boots! When I bought them there were only 5 pairs left, all in a size 7 but they seem to have restocked so all you chunky shoe lovers- go, go, go! I bought the boots in a UK 7, which is my usual size and they are definitely true to fit. They have a perfect heel height of around 3 inches(ish) and so are really transitional from daytime to evening. I managed to wear them for almost 24 hours really to a day at the cinema with a friend, then to a fancy dinner with my girlies and later that evening to a party! My feet felt perfectly fine by the end of the night and these beauties would definitely get a 10/10 for comfort.
Although a lot of people (including myself) find it difficult to part with £80, especially for a pair of plain black boots, they really are brilliant value for money. The seam detail, branded eyelets and waxed tubular laces are faultless and it definitely doesn't seem as if they're going to fall apart anytime soon.
The shoes are also very versatile and even just sitting here, pictures of possible outfits are flashing through my head! They could be worn with grayscale colours, neons, thick knitwear, summer dresses...these beauts could stomp in any season.
So, thankyou Vagabond for these gorgeous boots, I could not be more pleased with them. And obviously the boots and I would be thrilled if you could return the RSVP for our wedding!
